New female players wanted for season 2017/18!
AUCC are establishing are new Women’s Development side for the upcoming cricket season.
The Development side is aimed at beginners and new players looking to learn basic skills and get experience playing games without the pressure of performing at Premier Cricket level.
Players will also be given the opportunity to compete in the Adelaide Turf Cricket Association’s (ATCA) proposed new Women’s ATCA Competition and in social and trial games against other clubs, as well as in preseason friendlies.
No experience or equipment necessary, games will be played with soft balls and modified formats (e.g. T20 Blast).
All welcome – from complete beginners, backyard warriors to aspiring stars!
Women’s Preseason: 19th August – 8th October 2017
In-season training: From the 11th of October 2017, training will be held on Wednesday and Thursday nights at University Oval
Game Day: Women’s 2nd Grade play on Sunday afternoons
