New female players wanted for season 2017/18!
AUCC are establishing are new Women’s Development side for the upcoming cricket season.
The Development side is aimed at beginners and new players looking to learn basic skills and get experience playing games without the pressure of performing at Premier Cricket level.
Players will also be given the opportunity to compete in the Adelaide Turf Cricket Association’s (ATCA) new Women’s ATCA Competition and in social and trial games against other clubs, as well as in preseason friendlies.
No experience or equipment necessary, social games will be played with soft balls and modified formats (e.g. T20 Blast).
Home games played at beautiful Adelaide University Oval.
All welcome – from complete beginners, backyard warriors to aspiring stars!

- T20s played with 9-a-side (minimum of 7 to commence play)
- Played on Sundays, 1.00pm start
- Two separate 6-8 week pre & post-Christmas seasons
- For new players/or players with limited experience

Season 2017/18 at a glance
Women’s Preseason: 19th August – 8th October 2017
In-season training: From the 11th of October 2017, training will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday nights at University Oval
Premier Cricket: T20 and One-Day games played in the SACA 2nd Grade Premier Competition
ATCA Women’s: T20 competition for new players/or players with limited experience
Game Day: Women’s Premier and ATCA play on Sunday afternoons
Cost: $10/game for AU students; $15/game for non-AU students
