Playing for the Blacks

Adelaide University Cricket Club 2017/18 Season Formats:

With eight men’s and one women’s side, the AUCC is already the largest senior cricket club in SA. In season 2017/18, the Club are looking to expand with new offerings, including casual and social cricket formats. See below for more information on how you can get involved.

Premier Cricket

  • AUCC have four men’s teams playing in the SACA Premier Competition (1st – 4th Grade) and one women’s team playing in the SACA 2nd Grade Premier Competition.
  • Games are played on Saturday afternoons (men’s) and Sunday afternoons (women’s).
  • T20, One-Day and Two-day formats are played from Oct – Mar.

Community Cricket

  • AUCC have four men’s teams playing in the Adelaide Turf Cricket Association (ATCA) Competition, and is looking to introduce a new women’s team in 2017/18 season as well as an over 50s side.
  • Suitable for beginners and those wanting to play limited overs.

Friday Night Social cricket

  • Social T20 Blast Games with a soft ball
  • Music, BBQ and bar open with games played at Uni Oval
  • Mixed teams

Inter College Cup

  • Represent Adelaide Uni Residential Colleges – St Ann’s, St Mark’s, Aquinas, and Lincoln college
  • T20 Games to be played on Sunday nights from Feb – Mar
  • Mixed teams

AUCC Women’s Academy

  • Structured training sessions for beginners with accredited coaches
  • Learn basic skills and play modified games with a soft ball
  • Ideal for new players to develop their skills in a fun and inclusive environment
